Office Environment (Archives)

This project is based on a concept by Artyom Vlaskin ( https://artyomvlaskin.cgsociety.org/arw5/928298 ) and was meant to further my knowledge of Unreal Engine and current gen environment and asset creation techniques.
The goal was to see if I could create a modular, playable level using primarily 2 textures for both the architecture and props. The two textures were based on the materials that showed up the most in the concept and were divided into; Wood/Plaster/Concrete & Metal/Plastic/Cardboard/Stone. Both textures are set up with trim sheet style horizontally tiling sections as well as non-tiling sections. A few tiling textures or one off textures were created; Ceiling, Floor, Plants/dirt, Bulletin Boards, Door glass (normal map), and simple water ripple mask for animated water ripples.

The final look was inspired by The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

It was a great experience learning more about lighting, post processing, particles, material instances, and blueprints in Unreal.
